Brian O’Dea

Brian O’Dea, Operating Partner, brings 19 years experience in the technical and professional staffing industry. Brian firmly believes that both the hiring company and the prospective employee are of equal importance in the hiring process, where every hire is provided with individual attention and the significance of each placement is never solely based on duration, cost or skill level.

Brian started in the staffing industry as an Account Representative / Recruiter for a national technical staffing firm. Acting in the dual roles of sales and recruiting greatly enhanced his understanding of the staffing industry, though he readily acknowledges he continues to learn industry nuances every day. Through much hard work and the success that followed, Brian rose to the role of Branch Manager within 3 years. After several successful years overseeing the branch, Brian left to assist with the development of a local technical staffing and consulting firm where he operated the successful staffing division for over 10 years. Brian was also was responsible for the majority of client development.

Brian has experience in placing individuals in a wide range of industries, and he has developed significant client appreciation based on a simple but proven philosophy – listening to a client’s needs and providing them with a solution to remedy their issues.


Jennifer McGee

Jennifer McGee joined ProTech as a Recruiter/Account Specialist. She brings over 10 years of experience in recruiting and human resources. Her background includes global recruiting and selection – finding top talent in Engineering, Manufacturing, IT, Sales, Marketing, Administrative, Management and Call Center.

Jennifer has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, with a sub-major in Human Resources and a concentration in Marketing from Kent State University. She is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).

Jennifer specializes in Full-Cycle Recruiting, Business Development and Social Media Marketing. She is responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing and placing top-quality candidates for corporate exempt and non-exempt positions. Jennifer continually cultivates candidate networks and maintains candidate relations to source for future job openings to meet the needs of ProTech’s clients.


Margaret Valetta

Margaret Valletta is a Recruiter/Account Specialist at ProDirect (ProTech’s Direct Hire Division).  Her focus is on the direct placement of top talent.  She began her career in recruiting in 1988 for a family business and spent three years with the executive search firm, which specialized in the paper and packaging industries.  She quickly advanced within her role as Recruiter and Account Representative.  She continued her career working for a national staffing firm in recruiting and various administrative roles before joining ProDirect.

Margaret’s ability to connect with both clients and candidates on a personal level gives her better insight to make the right match for both parties.  Her specialty is proactively sourcing, identifying, screening and recruiting passive high caliber talent in the functional areas of C-Level Leadership, Engineering, Information Technology, Accounting & Finance, Supply Chain & Procurement, Consumer Products, Manufacturing & Operations and Sales & Marketing.


Angela Charatian

Angela Charatian recently joined ProTech Staffing Solutions as a Recruiter/Account Specialist. She is currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, and began working in the staffing industry through an internship. This allowed Angela to gain an appreciation of recruiting and she found that recruiting was her passion. Thus, began her career at ProTech!

Angela’s focus is to search, identify and match the right candidate with the right client. She continues to grow in her understanding of recruiting, and her devotion for doing a great job never ceases. Her skills along with her outgoing personality and strong work ethic is put to use daily as she recruits and places candidates of all experience levels in the jobs of their dreams.


Rob Edling

Robert started in the staffing industry as a Technical Recruiter for a national technical staffing firm.  Then transitioned to a Corporate Recruiting position where he gained a unique perspective of the staffing industry while successfully helping to grow a Network Security start-up company. He grew the company from fifteen employees to fifty employees within two years. The same high level standards of accuracy and communication that he required from suppliers is what he strives to deliver for everyone of his customers and candidates. From this role Robert entered back into the recruiting industry as an Account Executive and Technical Recruiter focusing on sourcing Engineering and IT personnel for the Aerospace and Automotive industries.   From here Robert took on a role of helping to organically build a Technical Staffing Division for a national staffing firm. He successfully helped to grow the division to over 50 million in revenue in eight years and was promoted into the role of Director of Midwest, Central and West Operations.Robert Edling joins ProTech as a Business Development Manager for Southern Ohio. He brings over 15 years of experience in the technical recruiting industry.   His background includes building a national technical staffing group to revenues in excess of 50 million dollars. Robert’s guiding philosophy is to provide his clients with the same level of communication and accuracy that he required from suppliers when working as a Corporate Recruiter.

Robert has a Bachelors degree in History, from Ohio University and is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
