Brian O’Dea

Brian O’Dea, Operating Partner, brings 17 years experience in the technical and professional staffing industry. Brian firmly believes that both the hiring company and the prospective employee are of equal importance in the hiring process, where every hire is provided with individual attention and the significance of each placement is never solely based on duration, cost or skill level.

Brian started in the staffing industry as an Account Representative / Recruiter for a national technical staffing firm. Acting in the dual roles of sales and recruiting greatly enhanced his understanding of the staffing industry, though he readily acknowledges he continues to learn industry nuances every day. Through much hard work and the success that followed, Brian rose to the role of Branch Manager within 3 years. After several successful years overseeing the branch, Brian left to assist with the development of a local technical staffing and consulting firm where he operated the successful staffing division for over 10 years. Brian was also was responsible for the majority of client development.

Brian has experience in placing individuals in a wide range of industries, and he has developed significant client appreciation based on a simple but proven philosophy – listening to a client’s needs and providing them with a solution to remedy their issues.


Jennifer McGee

Jennifer McGee joined ProTech as a Recruiter/Account Specialist. She brings over 10 years of experience in recruiting and human resources. Her background includes global recruiting and selection – finding top talent in IT, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, Administrative, Management and Call Center.

Jennifer has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, with a sub-major in Human Resources and a concentration in Marketing from Kent State University. She is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).

Jennifer specializes in Full-Cycle Recruiting, Business Development and Social Media Marketing. She is responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing and placing top-quality candidates for corporate exempt and non-exempt positions. Jennifer continually cultivates candidate networks and maintains candidate relations to source for future job openings to meet the needs of ProTech’s clients.


Rick Capretta

Rick Capretta, Account Executive, has been involved in the recruitment and placement of candidates, primarily in the Engineering field, since 2004. His focus is simple. Understand the needs and culture of his client. With that information, he has been successful in retaining current clients, as well as developing new clients.

Rick began his career with an international firm as a Recruiter and was promptly promoted to Account Manager within 6 months. Rick expanded his overall knowledge of the recruiting industry while working in the on-line job board industry for one year as well.

“If it’s a win-win-win situation, you can’t lose. The client is happy; the candidate is happy; and at the end of the day, my team is happy. If we’re not trying to achieve this scenario in every situation, we’re not doing our job.”


Dawn Herdman

Since moving to Cleveland in 2000, Dawn Herdman, Recruiter/Account Specialist, she has specialized in Benefits Administration, Human Resources, and Technical Recruiting.  Full–cycle recruiting experience includes:  Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Software Engineers, Sales Professionals , Technical Writers, Web Developers, and Data Entry.  She has placed contract, contract-to-hire, and direct placement positions.  She also has five years allied health recruiting experience in the non-profit sector.

Dawn has a Bachelor’s degree cum laude from Connecticut College, and well as PHR (Professional Human Resources) Certification from HRCI (Human Resource Certification Institute).  She is an active member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM).


Daniel Vokic

Daniel Vokic, Account Executive, has been involved with providing engineering solutions since 2006.  His experience has led to in-depth knowledge of his clients engineering needs on all levels of the field.  Daniel’s goal has been to accommodate these needs as a whole solution provider.  He has provided his clients with software implementation for over 4 years.  His experience in solution providing allowed him to work very closely with Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Software Engineers, Sales Professionals and Architects.

Daniel has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Toledo, with a focus in Information Systems.  His degree has greatly assisted with a technical understanding of personnel needs within his client’s environment.
