The manufacturing engineer will spend the majority of the time on the production floor analyzing production lines and determining ways to increase output, decrease scrap, improve quality, and reduce setup time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering technology, or related field.
- 3+ years process/manufacturing/industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Shop floor experience evaluating and improving processes.
- Ability to develop Standard Operating Procedures.
- Lean manufacturing.
- Problem solving skills.
- AutoCAD 2D experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
